معيارُ التأويلِ السائغِ: قَصْدُ البيان لمراد المتكلِّم لا أن يكون لمجرَّد دفع التعارض
قال شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية (تـ٧٢٨ هـ): «وهؤلاء كثيرًا ما يجعلون التأويل من باب دفع المعارض، فيقصدون حملَ اللَّفظ على ما يُمكن أن يريده متكلمٌ بلفظه، لا يقصدون طلبَ مرادِ المتكلِّمِ به، وحمله على ما يناسب حاله. وكلُّ تأويلٍ لا يَقْصدُ به صاحبُه بيانَ مرادِ المتكلمِ وتفسيرَ كلامِه بما يُعرف به مرادُهُ، وعلى الوجه الذي به يُعرف مراده= فصاحبُهُ كاذب على من تأوَّل كلامَهُ. ولهذا كان أكثرهم لا يجزمون بالتأويل، بل يقولون: يجوز أن يرادَ كذا! وغايةُ ما معهم إمكانُ احتمال اللفظ».

He said that since his platform does not have the capacity to check all channels, it may restrict some in Russia and Ukraine "for the duration of the conflict," but then reversed course hours later after many users complained that Telegram was an important source of information. Telegram, which does little policing of its content, has also became a hub for Russian propaganda and misinformation. Many pro-Kremlin channels have become popular, alongside accounts of journalists and other independent observers.
