Более 1,3 миллиона туристов посетили Карелию в прошлом году
Артур Парфенчиков заявил, что туристическая отрасль в Карелии «уверенно сохраняет свои позиции». По данным Росстата, туристический поток по итогам 12 месяцев прошлого года оценивается в не менее чем 1 млн 300 тысяч человек. Рост по сравнению с 2021 годом составил почти 12%.
«На 70% увеличился объем налоговых поступлений в бюджет региона от организаций сферы туризма и составил свыше 400 миллионов рублей», — сообщил губернатор.
В настоящее время в Карелии реализуется несколько проектов в области туризма. К примеру, обустраивается туристический центр в Сортавале, также начато строительство визит-центра музея «Беломорские петроглифы» и т. д.
