Имя писателя и исследователя Дальнего Востока Владимира Арсеньева, 150-летие со дня рождения которого празднуют в этом году, планируется присвоить новой рекреационной зоне в микрорайоне Вторая Речка.
С такой идеей выступило министерство жилищно-коммунального хозяйства Приморского края. Комиссия по городской топонимике Владивостока дала согласие, и сейчас специалисты администрации готовят соответствующее постановление.
Отмечается, что долгое время территория, превращенная в комфортную набережную, не имела названия и была просто неблагоустроенной прибрежной зоной.
