در اروپا دو مدل با خامه و با کاسترد داره، در ایران خامه‌ایش رایجه.
فرانسویها از ۱۶۵۱ و از شهر دیژون mille-feuille (هزار لایه) دارند که مثل ناپولئونی ما لایه‌لایه‌ست اما اونجا اسمش ناپولئونی نیست! در ایران میل‌فوی داریم اما با نام لهستانیِ ناپولئونی!
