Жители Воронежской области передали мошенникам 42,9 млн руб. При этом за первый квартал 2024 года воронежцы лишились 250 млн руб. (за аналогичный период 2023 —140 млн руб.). В Тамбовской области жители перевели мошенникам 7,1 млн руб., в Белгородской — 6,5 млн руб. Куряне лишились 3,8 млн руб., а липчане и орловчане — по 2,6 млн руб.

"A spike in inflation rates has preceded economic recessions historically and this time prices have soared to levels that once again pose a threat to growth." For tech stocks, “the main thing is yields,” Essaye said. Additionally, investors are often instructed to deposit monies into personal bank accounts of individuals who claim to represent a legitimate entity, and/or into an unrelated corporate account. To lend credence and to lure unsuspecting victims, perpetrators usually claim that their entity and/or the investment schemes are approved by financial authorities. Investors took profits on Friday while they could ahead of the weekend, explained Tom Essaye, founder of Sevens Report Research. Saturday and Sunday could easily bring unfortunate news on the war front—and traders would rather be able to sell any recent winnings at Friday’s earlier prices than wait for a potentially lower price at Monday’s open.
