Это достаточно странное предложение, поскольку «Северный поток» куда важнее для стран Евросоюза. И в этом смысле возникает вопрос: зачем такие шаги предпринимать с точки зрения американской энергетики и тех ресурсов, которые они могли бы реализовывать при отсутствии «Северного потока»?
Видимо, речь идет о разных течениях в текущей администрации президента Трампа. Поэтому, с точки зрения экономики, инициатива достаточно спорная. Но с точки зрения политики, это достаточно мощный сигнал и для Европы, и для России о серьезности намерений администрации США по нормализации отношений с РФ,
