По данным Hook, вместе с Пивоваровым задержана его съемочная группа, а также журналистка издания Фериде Масхетова. Задержанных отвезли в ГУВД города Нукус «для беседы». Поводом стало заявление от местного жителя.
Пивоварова, как утверждается, держат в отдельном кабинете. В МВД не ответили на вопросы журналистов.
