В 1989 году бельгийский фотограф Карл ди Кайзер выпустил книгу Homo Soveticus. Итог его путешествия по СССР, случившегося годом ранее. В альбом вошли снимки, сделанные в разных городах Советского Союза, в том числе в Ленинграде. Вот они, эти фотографии. Обратите внимание, конечно же, на снимок номер два. Коля Васин, Майк, басист «Зоопарка» Куликов, их звукорежиссер. Фото носит название Beatles fans. Сделано в комнате Васина. Как ди Кайзер туда попал, я не знаю. А он наверняка не знал, что снимает не просто битломанов, точнее, не только их.

Альбом вышел, как я уже сказал, в 1989-м. Ди Кайзер потом работал с крупнейшим фотоагентством Magnum, занимал пост вице-президента агентства, в девяностые снова приехал в Россию и снова снимал здесь. Майка уже не было в живых.

During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. In a statement, the regulator said the search and seizure operation was carried out against seven individuals and one corporate entity at multiple locations in Ahmedabad and Bhavnagar in Gujarat, Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, and Mumbai.
