Судя по радиолокационным снимкам (SAR) спутника Sentinel-1, сразу после взятия Очеретино весной 2024 года, ВС РФ приступили к организации железнодорожной логистики от Авдеевки максимально близко к передовой.

Череда SAR-снимков с мая 2024 по январь 2025 года, изученная западными исследователями говорит, что российская армия прямо под носом у ВСУ возила (и возит) снабжение по восстановленной железной дороге всего в нескольких километрах от линии фронта.

Отметим, что украинская армия также могла доставлять грузы по железной дороге в сторону передовой. Однако, последним логистическим пунктом до декабря 2024 года являлся Покровск, находившийся тогда гораздо дальше от фронта. А сейчас, в связи с перерезанием российскими штурмовиками ведущей в город ж/д, лавочка и вовсе закрылась.
