في السنن نوعان من الدعاء يقال في كل منهما لمن دعا به أنه دعا الله باسمه الأعظم :
أحدهما : «اللهم إني أسألك بأن لك الحمد، أنت الله المنان بديع السماوات والأرض، يا ذا الجلال والإكرام».
والآخر : «اللهم إني أسألك بأنك أنت الله الأحد الصمد، الذي لم يلد ولم يولد، ولم يكن له كفوا أحد». الأول : سؤال بأنه تعالى المحمود، والثاني : سؤال بأنه الأحد. فذاك سؤال بكونه محمودًا ، وهذا سؤال بوحدانيته المقتضية توحيدًا ، وهو في نفسه محمود يستحق الحمد ، معبود يستحق العبادة . 📚ـــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ جامع المسائل لابن تيمية رحمه الله
