Глава профильного комитета Госдумы по обороне и депутат от «Единой России» Андрей Картаполов предложил брать в армию по контракту выпускников школ, не проходивших срочную службу. Соответствующую поправку он внес ко второму чтению законопроекта о внесении изменений в отдельные законодательные акты РФ.
Согласно текущей версии закона «О военной службе», сейчас для поступления на службу по контракту необходимо иметь среднее профессиональное образование или отслужить по призыву не менее трех месяцев.
