По итогам прошлого года крупнейшие сети кинотеатров — объединенная киносеть «Формула кино» и «Синема Парк», «Каро» и «Синема Стар» — сообщили о росте выручки примерно на 40%. Однако в абсолютном выражении показатель пока не восстановился до уровней 2021-го и допандемийного 2019 года.
В 2022 году от массового ухода голливудских студий из России АО «Синема Парк» потеряло 43,2% выручки и получило убыток в 1,8 млрд руб., выручка «Каро» сократилась на 41,8%, а чистый убыток составил 1,3 млрд руб.
