او پیش بینی کرد که موسوی روزی در برابر انقلاب خواهد ایستاد.
و اعلام کرد که فردا اسناد گفته هایش علیه میرحسین موسوی را به مجلس خواهد آورد. اما صبح روز بعد ۱۴ مرداد ۱۳۶۰ در مقابل منزلش در نارمک تهران توسط دو مهاجم موتورسوار با ۶۵ گلوله کشته شد و تمامی آن اسناد از خودرو او توسط قاتلان به سرقت رفت.
