Этот день уже 15 лет неофициально отмечают ветераны по всей стране, однако сегодня пока лишь в 40 субъектах РФ праздник имеет статус регионального на основании принятых на местах локальных нормативных актов. По просьбе ветеранских организаций, совместно с председателем Президиума Общероссийской организации «ОФИЦЕРЫРОССИИ», Героем России Сергеем Липовым направили обращения главам 49 регионов, где такое решение ещё не принято.
Напомню, на рассмотрении в Госдуме находится межфракционный законопроект, направленный на установление 1 июля как Дня ветеранов боевых действий на всей территории России.
