I see this article being posted on a bunch of Orthodox channels, this is completely untrue
The ruling affirms that the Monks and followers of Saint Catherine are entitled to use the monastery and religious archaeological sites in the Saint Catherine Area, while ownership remains with the State as public property.
It also recognizes their right to reside on these lands for religious purposes, as they live there in a spiritual capacity and perform religious rituals.
