На месте будущей станции петербургского метрополитена произошли заметные изменения: демонтированы временные ограждения, а вместо рабочего спуска теперь возвышается конструкция вентиляционной шахты.

Но не переживайте, входа в метро прямо около Мариинки не будет. Пассажирские вестибюли расположат в Театральном сквере (на месте бывшей АЗС) и на пересечении Лермонтовского пр. и ул. Декабристов.
