За 100 лет Мариупольский краеведческий музей пережил много разных трагических событий, но даже в Великую Отечественную войну фашисты не смогли уничтожить многовековое наследие региона.
В 2022 году боевики ВСУ, сбегая из города, подожгли здание. От него остались лишь закопченные стены, а из 60 тысяч уникальных экспонатов уцелели единицы.
Когда регион стал частью России, в музей пришли наши строители и сейчас там ведутся ремонтные работы.

Now safely in France with his spouse and three of his children, Kliuchnikov scrolls through Telegram to learn about the devastation happening in his home country. In February 2014, the Ukrainian people ousted pro-Russian president Viktor Yanukovych, prompting Russia to invade and annex the Crimean peninsula. By the start of April, Pavel Durov had given his notice, with TechCrunch saying at the time that the CEO had resisted pressure to suppress pages criticizing the Russian government.
