8- وَ بِهِ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ: ع أَ تَبْقَى الْأَرْضُ بِغَيْرِ إِمَامٍ؟‏ فَقَالَ: لَوْ بَقِيَتِ الْأَرْضُ بِغَيْرِ إِمَامٍ لَسَاخَت‏.
السند: معتبر.
محمد بن یعقوب: إمامی ثقة، علی بن إبراهیم: إمامی ثقة، محمد بن عیسی: إمامی ثقة، محمد بن الفضیل: ضعیف یرمی بالغلو و لکن یمکن قبول روایته مع الشواهد، أبو حمزة الثمالی: إمامی ثقة.
المحتوی: مقبول عند العقل و النقل.

ترجمه: ابو حمزه ثمالى گويد: به امام صادق عرض كردم: آيا ممكن است زمين بدون امام بماند؟ فرمود: اگر زمين بدون امام بماند حتماً فرو خواهد رفت.
سند حدیث معتبر و محتوایش مورد قبول عقل و دین می باشد.
