Територію промислової зони цього заводу росіяни неодноразово використовували як базу для військової техніки та особового складу.

За інформацією OSINT-аналітиків «КіберБорошно», на атакованому заводі «Топаз» розташовувався пункт управління рівня армії ЗС РФ.
