Внаслідок російського нічного удару одна людина загинула, 14 постраждали.

Від отриманих травм у лікарні помер чоловік. Його особистість встановлюється. Поранення отримали 11 цивільних людей та троє рятувальників під час ліквідації наслідків. Четверо людей (троє з яких співробітники ДСНС) госпіталізовані у стані середнього ступеню важкості, інші, після отримання всієї необхідної допомоги - продовжують амбулаторне лікування.

Унаслідок удару постраждали житлові будинки, вищі навчальні заклади, цивільна інфраструктура та транспорт. Виникли масштабні пожежі, які оперативно ліквідували наші рятувальники.

Над ліквідацією наслідків продовжують працювати всі уповноважені служби. Правоохоронці документують чергові злочини росіян проти цивільного населення Одещини.

Right now the digital security needs of Russians and Ukrainians are very different, and they lead to very different caveats about how to mitigate the risks associated with using Telegram. For Ukrainians in Ukraine, whose physical safety is at risk because they are in a war zone, digital security is probably not their highest priority. They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders. If you initiate a Secret Chat, however, then these communications are end-to-end encrypted and are tied to the device you are using. That means it’s less convenient to access them across multiple platforms, but you are at far less risk of snooping. Back in the day, Secret Chats received some praise from the EFF, but the fact that its standard system isn’t as secure earned it some criticism. If you’re looking for something that is considered more reliable by privacy advocates, then Signal is the EFF’s preferred platform, although that too is not without some caveats. Telegram does offer end-to-end encrypted communications through Secret Chats, but this is not the default setting. Standard conversations use the MTProto method, enabling server-client encryption but with them stored on the server for ease-of-access. This makes using Telegram across multiple devices simple, but also means that the regular Telegram chats you’re having with folks are not as secure as you may believe. The gold standard of encryption, known as end-to-end encryption, where only the sender and person who receives the message are able to see it, is available on Telegram only when the Secret Chat function is enabled. Voice and video calls are also completely encrypted. The last couple days have exemplified that uncertainty. On Thursday, news emerged that talks in Turkey between the Russia and Ukraine yielded no positive result. But on Friday, Reuters reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin said there had been some “positive shifts” in talks between the two sides.
