Россию обходят — официально запущено строительство железнодорожной магистрали Китай – Кыргызстан – Узбекистан, которая позволит доставлять различные грузы из Китая в Центральную Азию, а оттуда – через Турцию в Европу.
В течение 6-8 лет предполагается построить 90 туннелей, мостов и станций, объем инвестиций в строительство магистрали оценивается в $5 млрд.
Активное участие в строительстве намерены принять турецкие компании. По замыслу стран-участниц проекта, новая ветка сократит время доставки грузов из Китая в Европу на 7 дней.
Не в последнюю очередь проект направлен и на то, чтобы исключить из транзита Москву: ветка пойдет в обход России.
