Ирина Подносова — бывшая однокурсница президента России Владимира Путина. Так же, как и он, окончила юридический факультет Ленинградского государственного университета в 1975 году. В 1990–2013 годах Подносова работала в Лужском городском суде Ленинградской области, сперва судьей, а потом председателем суда. В 2013 году она была назначена заместителем председателя Ленинградского областного суда. В 2018 году стала главой только созданного тогда Второго апелляционного суда.
