Один из поплавковых барьеров натянули у самого устья. Следующую ступень защиты установили приблизительно в 100 метрах. Третье боновое заграждение расположили под пешеходным мостом у южного притока Анапки.
Дополнительные барьеры на русле нужны, чтобы нефтепродукты не попали выше по течению в случае шторма. Основные боновые ограждения ранее установили на пляжах неподалёку, перед этим удалив мазутные пятна.
