در جلسه اخیر از سلسلهنشستهای «گفتار و اندیشه» که حزب اتحاد ملت شعبه فارس آن را در شیراز برگزار کرد، حسین هوشمند، به نقد و بررسی این کتاب پرداخته است. او پژوهشگر حوزه فلسفه سیاسی است که در رشته فلسفه اخلاق تطبیقی و در باب مبانی اخلاقی سیاست جهانی از دیدگاه جان رالز پژوهشهایی داشته است.
