«Рассматривается вопрос о создании государственного акционерного общества, задачей которого было бы производство продукции военного назначения, которую можно было бы использовать не только для снабжения собственных вооруженных сил, но и для помощи другим государствам-членам НАТО. Мы должны иметь возможность сами производить то, что критически необходимо, в том числе боеприпасы. Как ожидается, в течение месяца правительство рассмотрит документы, которые укрепят военную промышленность Латвии».
