Впервые подробно описаны характеристики клеток крови взрослых и молодых особей, включая размеры и соотношение эритроцитов, лейкоцитов и тромбоцитов. Проведён сравнительный анализ возрастных групп, выявлены особенности, важные для понимания физиологии и патологии вида. Существенных отклонений в составе крови, свидетельствующих о проблемах со здоровьем, не обнаружено.
