Министр культуры Франции Рашида Дати вручила российскому режиссеру Кириллу Серебренникову высшую награду страны — орден Почетного легиона.

Министр отметила, что участие Серебренникова в культурной жизни Франции крайне важно. Режиссер, в свою очередь, ответил, что «живя в Европе, он считает и сейчас важным поддерживать культурные связи между Европой и Россией», а также «верит, что все равно победит любовь и искусство».

Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands. After fleeing Russia, the brothers founded Telegram as a way to communicate outside the Kremlin's orbit. They now run it from Dubai, and Pavel Durov says it has more than 500 million monthly active users.
