Председатель комитета Палаты представителей Майкл Маккол потребовал от Госдепартамента предоставить документы, связанные с выводом войск из Афганистана, передает CNN. Ведомство должно ответить на запрос до 26 января или разбирательства продолжатся в суде, отметил Маккол.
«В случае невыполнения условий Комитет будет использовать свои полномочия для обеспечения выполнения запросов, в том числе в принудительном порядке», — заявил Маккол.
