Это фото с XIV всесоюзной конференции ВКП(б), на мой взгляд, одно из самых ярких доказательств чрезмерности и необоснованности сталинских репрессий. Итак, слева направо:

- командующий войсками Сибирского военного округа и будущий участник «левой оппозиции» Михаил Лашевич (погиб при загадочных обстоятельствах в Харбине в августе 1928 года);

- нарком по военным и морским делам Михаил Фрунзе ровно за полгода до смерти;

- председатель СНК Украинской ССР Влас Чубарь (расстрелян в феврале 1939 года);

- председатель Совнаркома СССР Алексей Рыков (расстрелян в марте 1938 года);

- Климент Ворошилов и Иосиф Сталин;

- нарком юстиции и генеральный прокурор УССР Николай Скрипник (покончил с собой в июле 1933 года);

- начальник Политического управления РВС и РККА СССР Андрей Бубнов (расстрелян в августе 1938 года);

- первый секретарь Закавказского крайкома ВКП(б) Серго Орджоникидзе (умер в феврале 1937 года при загадочных обстоятельствах);

- начальник снабжения РККА Иосиф Уншлихт (расстрелян в июле 1938 года).
