В иске Минюст обращал внимание на несоблюдение требований статьи 37 федерального закона «О политических партиях», согласно которому партия должна выдвигать кандидатов и добиваться их регистрации на президентских, думских, губернаторских и местных выборах.
При этом в Петербурге на муниципальных выборах в прошлом году партия выдвинула 37 кандидатов, из них 10 смогли попасть в бюллетени, однако выборы проиграли.
