Комментируя арест бизнесмена в Ереване, он также отметил большие заслуги Карапетяна в стране:
«[Он] был одним из людей, вложившихся в строительство крупнейшего медицинского центра в Степанакерте, в Арцахе... вкладывался в инфраструктуру Армении... открыл там множество коммерческих предприятий, чтобы дать работу армянам».
