why is this? because milking a mentally ill person for 10 or so years of all of his money until he kills himself is more profitable than resolving what makes him ill.

i used to be a pit supervisor but the pay was terrible. i ended up getting a really great gig as a bottomless pit supervisor. the pay was way better and the inspections were generally simpler with a few caveats.
i got fired because apparently i didnt go deep enough when doing inspections and it turns out the pit was not actually bottomless, costing the company a TON of money and i got fired as a result.
