: Kennings for the Earth :

"How should one periphrase the earth? Thus: by calling her Flesh of Ymir, and Mother of Thor, Daughter of Ónarr, Odin's Bride, Co-Wife of Frigg and Rindr and Gunnlöd, Mother-in-law of Sif, Floor & Bottom of the Storm-Hall, Sea of Beasts, daughter of Night, Sister of Audr & of Day.

Now the beaming gold is hidden in the body of the Mother of the Giants' Foe; the counsels of a kindred strong are mighty.

In council it was determined that the King's friend, wise in counsel, should wed the Land, sole daughter of Ónarr, greenly wooded.

The Raven-Abode's brave ruler got the broad-faced bride of Odin, the land, with kingly counsels of weapons, lured unto him.

...

Full loath to let the Land slip I hold the lordly Spear-Prince Audr's sister is subjected to the splendid Treasure-Spender.

Far off the dart-slow sluggard stood, when the Sword-Inciter in ancient days took to him the unripe Co-Wife of Rindr."

Gods are found outside tending to their creation. If we want to find them, we should go to where they are.
❤‍🔥38🎄7
When one thinks of Gods creating & maintaining our world, often times we have to assume they're completely outside of our existence to do so. But why is that the case?

On this channel, we have made the case for polytheism with an argument based in the world of construction. Extrapolating from the construction metaphor, one can easily explain why Gods can live in their own realm while being active in ours without contradiction.

Gods procured the material to construct our world, much like a construction crew. Different individuals have different skill sets, thus resulting in them having different positions. However what if they who built this structure, did it so they can work in it? If they work at one building, why would it be impossible for them to live in another which they too constructed?

One may say, if there is a construction team, they must work for a singular boss. Hierarchy does not mean singularity. For if that were the case, there would be no need for a team to be assembled in the first place.

DNA

On this channel we have talked about how DNA is not just a chain connecting you to your ancestors & descendants, but also how its related to the woven threads of fate. One fact which exemplifies this fate connection is Epigenetics.

For those who may be unaware, epigenetics is the study of how environmental factors affect gene expression. That these expressed genes will be passed down into subsequent generations. Knowing this, many genes that are expressed in you currently are not just the results of what you have been through personally, but what your ancestors have as well.

In other words, not only are the lives & memories encoded within you, but passed through the blood to your progeny. This reveals 3 things:
1. Blood memory is real.
2. Our actions & experiences have long-term importance.
3. Inside each of us, is not just recorded our lives, but the lives of our forefathers & foremothers over tens of thousands of years.

Within you is not just your story, but the stories of countless generations.

Winter Nights

Vetrnætr are well attested Germanic holy days dedicated to Freyr, the Disir & the Elves:

"Thorgrim intended to have an autumn gathering at Winter Nights and welcome winter and sacrifice to Freyr, and he invited his brother Bork and Eyjolf Thordarson and many other prominent men. Gisli also prepared a feast and invited his kin from Arnarfjord and the two Thorketills. There were no fewer than half a hundred men at Gisli’s home. There was to be drinking at both houses, and the floor at Sæbol was strewn with sedges from Seftjorn."
- Gisla saga - 15

"That fall, the tidings were told to King Olaf at Thrandheim that the freeholders had held a feast attended by many at Winter Nights. There was much drinking there. The king was told that there was minni-ale blessed to the Æsir according to the old custom. The story continued that cattle and horses were killed and the altars reddened with blood, and a blót carried out, and the prayer performed that had to be made for better seasons."

On March 2nd this year, we promoted Mr. Davis' business in an effort to bolster Folk-Economy. A goal for not just Pagan Revival, but the right at-large, is to buy from our own, create business networks within our sphere, so the flow of capital stays in-house as much as possible.

Mr. Davis is a long-time friend of the channel, a great family man, a knowledgeable folk & religious leader out in the mid-west of the US and so much more. It is extremely unfortunate to see his business going away, and we at Pagan Revivalism channel send our support to him and his family in these trying times. If you can help, Mr. Davis has not just religious themed clothing, stickers, art & more, but also products other people might find useful as well. If you can, join me in giving them our support by going to http://www.theheadshoprc.com

During this time of year, going outside is extremely beautiful. Autumn is ushered in with gold & crimson hues. The air is chilly but not unbearable. Though the days are shorter there's plenty of light to see the magnificence of our world & the spirits therein.

Gods are active throughout the year, but they are tending to their creation. Let us go outside to meet them where they are!

The Persian Connection

In less than a week, we will be hosting one of the most anticipated shows we have produced. This is the culmination of years of research, delving into one of the most important but poorly understood subjects within ancestral faith, axiality. This will be a crash-course into what exactly it is, discovering it's origins & why it's important today.

Join us on Saturday, 10/25/25, as we dig into the past to uncover an ancient revolution which overthrew tradition. Delving into sources which tie together the current major world religions & ancient philosophies. That they all trace back to a singular source, and the spark which ignited a thriving forest into ash & flame.

This show will have the power to change how we see antiquity, as well as what led to the decline of ancestral faiths & why. It also will show what we can do to overcome it, in order to make Pagan Revivalism a reality again.

This is a show you will not want to miss, only on Pagan Revivalism channel.

One way you can tell Paganism has power over abrahamism is to look at the respective environments which gave birth to them.

While we have flourishing forests, they are of a dead desert.

Water is essential for life. Our lands are full of springs, rivers and lakes. While they have the dead sea where nothing but flies live.

Numerous types of animals could be found all across Europa when Paganism was its steward. Just like there are few creatures of the arabian/ judean desert, so too did the wildlife of Europa suffer from the take-over of the faith from the desert.

Pagan revival is more than just finding personal purpose and meaning, it is about making this world right and full of light again. This spiritual war has consequences beyond our imagining. It is not merely ideological or political, for if it could be fixed with such it would have already been so. It was so under ancient Pagan faiths, and so it shall be when we return.

We will revive & thrive, heal the land, because with Gods & Ancestors we stand!

The Ranheim Cult Site: A Glimpse into the Old Faith

In 2010, workers near Trondheim uncovered a buried pre-Christian ritual site now known as the Ranheim cult site. Beneath the soil lay a stone altar (hörgr), a small temple (hof), and a processional pathway. Charcoal samples date its earliest suggestive use to the 5th century, with activity believed to have lasted until the 10th century. Before conversion reached the region, the site was deliberately covered, preserving it, as a distant memory of a living Tradition.

Inside the temple, archaeologists found large postholes that likely supported a platform or images of the gods. Sagas describe temples with “high-seat pillars” and carved figures representing the divine, so these posts may have held the same role. They would have stood as symbols of the gods’ presence during offerings and ceremonies.

Excavations also revealed burnt bones, beads, and other offerings placed in the ground. The stone path marked the movement of ritual procession, showing that worship followed structure and order. These finds match the old writings describing how our ancestors gathered to honor the gods through sacrifice, feast, and oath.

For modern Heathens, Ranheim proves that our forebears practiced a sacred and organized faith rooted in place and community. Their worship was physical and meaningful, tied to the natural world and guided by ritual. When their time ended, they concealed their sanctuary rather than see it defiled, leaving behind a message that still speaks to us today.

In old Germanic pagan ways, gods like Odin and Thor fight hard with weapons to protect their family and beat bad guys, showing that violence can be a good tool when used right for safety and fairness. Forgetting this means ignoring our ancestors' tough spirit, where being strong helps you survive life's hard challenges and weird twists of fate.

Practical Paganism

Polytheistic faiths in Europa go back to the Ice Age 40,000 years ago. They're so ancient they flow in our veins. From the earliest stage of our existence, when we were both predator & prey, they were the spark which uplifted us, forged empires & civilizations from nothing. Paganism is the most stable faith/societal system we are aware of. But it was supplanted & now on track for a grand comeback. A natural question arises, how can we recapture this stability?
Three things serve as a practical foundation for securing the long-term growth, success & stability of Ancestral faiths:

• Both men & women being involved.
• For men & women to form families.
• For said families to form tribes / communities.

Without these, any faith or ideology will fail. We have Gods & Goddesses dedicated to such, sacred marriage rites, castes for all strata of any size society. ust as we should revive these faiths as they were, to the best of our ability, we must protect at all costs these foundational three.

Zoroaster : Prophet of Evil

For nearly 1,000 years before Zoroaster, those that lived in & near the Iranian plateau followed the rigveda. In there, as most are aware, Indra is the king of their Old Gods who establishes the order of the realms. This changed when Zoroaster flipped the pantheon, worshipping evil as good & good now being evil.

"Then answered Ahura-Mazda: "Speak these words thrice. .. I combat Indra, I combat Qauru, I combat the Daeva Naonhaiti away from the dwelling, the clan, the' tribe, the region. .. These are the words which slay all the Daevas."
Avesta - Vendidad - Fargard 10

"It has long been known that these names, Indra, cauru, and naonhaiti, are identical with the Indra, Caurva and Nasatya of the Vedas. In the Bundehesh it is stated: "Ahriman created out of the materials of darkness Akuman and Ander (indra), then Cauru and Nakait, then Tarij and Zarij." Ako-mano is not mentioned here, but his name occurs in Fargard 19.12"
