NEW🚨: Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau and Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office raided the home and office of President Volodymyr Zelensky’s chief of staff, Andriy Yermak, on Wednesday as part of a $100 million energy sector corruption probe involving top officials.

Yermak, a key advisor in U.S. peace talks and Zelensky’s gatekeeper for appointments, confirmed the searches on Telegram, stating he is cooperating fully with investigators and his lawyers are present.

The raids follow investigations into three of Yermak’s former deputies for financial wrongdoing; two resigned in 2024, while a third remains on staff.

The scandal adds pressure on Zelensky amid EU demands for anti-graft reforms and U.S. negotiations with Russia, exacerbating internal party tensions that nearly split his parliamentary majority earlier this month. ICYMI😑: Reuters reports Bird flu expert Marie-Anne Rameix-Welti, medical director at France’s Institut Pasteur respiratory infections center, warned Thursday that the H5 strain spreading among birds and mammals could spark a pandemic worse than COVID-19 if it mutates for human-to-human transmission.

She noted humans lack antibodies against H5, unlike seasonal flus, and the virus could kill healthy people, including children. “A bird flu pandemic would probably be quite severe, potentially even more severe than the pandemic we experienced,” Rameix-Welti said.

Human cases remain rare, often from animal contact, with nearly 1,000 outbreaks since 2003 (48% fatal) per the WHO, mostly in Egypt, Indonesia, and Vietnam. The first U.S. H5N5 human case was confirmed in Washington state this month; the patient died.

People have antibodies against common H1 and H3 seasonal flu, but none against the H5 bird flu affecting birds and mammals, like they had none against COVID-19, she said.

World Organisation for Animal Health’s Gregorio Torres assessed the pandemic risk as low but urged early preparedness. Rameix-Welti added the world is better equipped than for COVID-19, with ready vaccine candidates, rapid manufacturing know-how, and antiviral stocks.

You realize what this gonna force them to do, if they try to use the courts to keep the AutoPen executive orders and executive actions NOT personally signed by Biden in force?

It's would FORCE them to argue in court that the power of the executive resides in the autopen and the staff using it.

Imagine being the judge or lawyer having to argue that the power of the Executive is not ONLY invested in a President, but also within his staff and his Autopen.

So somebody other than a President can use an autopen to sign a freaking Executive Order or command an Executive Action.
