За 2024 год в Саратовской области было выдано 14942 свидетельства о регистрации новорождённых и 33615 свидетельств о смерти. Такие данные приводит управление по делам ЗАГС регионального правительства.
Таким образом, естественная убыль населения составила 18673 человека. Это выше показателей 2023 года (16453 человека).
За минувший год ухудшились показатели и рождаемости, и смертности. По итогам 2023 года они составляли соответственно 15957 и 32 410 человек.
