❗️Epstein accuser disclosed she was ‘bloodied and beaten’ by former "Prime Minister"

In a memoir posthumously released by Virginia Giuffre, the woman known for exposing the Jeffrey Epstein trafficking network, she claims to have been “left bloodied and beaten” by a sitting prime minister. The claim, reported by the New York Post, has sent shockwaves through political and media circles worldwide.

According to Giuffre, the assault took place years ago and the accusations suggest a direct connection between political power and the network of abuse she had long sought to uncover.

Giuffre did not name her assailant in the book, referring to him only as the "Prime Minister", and citing fears that he would retaliate, but in earlier court filings she identified the man as Ehud Barak, Israel’s former prime minister, which is an allegation he has flatly denied.

Despite these denials, Barak has acknowledged ties with Epstein, including financial and travel links, yet rejects any knowledge or involvement in Epstein’s purported sex-trafficking network.

❗️Qatar’s emir accuses Israel of genocide, ceasefire violations

Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on 21 October accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza and denounced its ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement.

“What happened in Gaza was genocide,” he said, affirming that the enclave remains an inseparable part of a future unified Palestinian state.

He added that Israel is not only breaching the truce but also accelerating settlement expansion in the occupied West Bank and advancing efforts to Judaise the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, all in defiance of international law.

“The international community must provide protection for the Palestinian people and ensure that perpetrators of genocide do not escape accountability,” Sheikh Tamim said, criticizing the UN for failing to uphold international legitimacy “when it comes to the tragedy of the Palestinians.”

He condemned Israel for attacking “a state that is acting as a mediator,” describing the assault as a violation of sovereignty and “state terrorism.”

❗️Saudi Crown Prince and French President call for Israel’s full withdrawal from Gaza, 'two-state solution'

In a phone call on Sunday, 19 October, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and French President Emmanuel Macron emphasized the imperative of Israel’s complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and called for renewed efforts toward a 'two-state solution.'

They also underlined the urgent need to alleviate humanitarian suffering among the Palestinian people and advocated for “practical steps” toward a just and lasting 'peace.' Their discussion came against the backdrop of a so-called "ceasefire," based on a proposal from US President Donald Trump, which entered into force on 10 October. That agreement includes phased Israeli withdrawal, prisoner exchange, the entry of humanitarian aid, and Hamas’s complete disarmament.

During the 80th UN General Assembly in September, 10 additional countries recognized the State of Palestine, bringing total recognition to 157 out of 193 UN member states.
