My good friend https://www.group-telegram.com/TheLadyTreowwyrhta.com visited the ancient bee keeping museum in Lithuania and took these photos of some amazing woodcarvings.
There was so many more there but I think these really stand out!
Wayland’s Smithy

I’ve dreamt of visiting this place for a long time and finally got there!!

It goes without saying an offering was left, it seems fitting that I drew Woden from the bag.
My husband made a troll cross for me to leave somewhere on our travels and what better place than the smithy!
I spent the whole day yesterday exploring Wiltshires Neolithic sites before meeting up with some wonderful folk for the night.
I took my bag of offerings along and left one at each important site.

As we were leaving Avebury Stone Circles I did this panorama, when reviewing I saw the path of light leading to one stone (the light wasn’t noticeable in real life), of course I had to go straight to that stone.

As I rounded the rear I saw the perfect sized hole for an offering to be left inside the stone forever, Woden with the ēðel rune was pulled.

As I was searching for a small stone to help wedge him inside, I found charcoal and felt called to add another ēðel rune on the stone.

One of many very special experiences of the day ⚡️
WODEN RIDES INTO BATTLE

I created this piece before leaving for holiday, as a gift for someone who I admire greatly.

I was lucky enough to meet him this week. Most of the time I am posting my pieces to friends around the world so to hand this over in person was a special moment.

I am usually overly critical of my work, and while there are some imperfections with the final finish due to time restraints, I absolutely love this piece.

The undertaking of the border filled me with a lot of worry, but as soon as I got started, it flowed so nicely that I really enjoyed the process of creating it.

Hail Woden
Hail the Folk
Hail Victory
