Во второй день Dairy Rally мы посетили молочную ферму Walpole Dairy Farm.
2700 дойного. Надой примерно 33 литра наголову в день. На ферму установлена карусель Boumatic. Мы заметили, что работники на карусели недостаточно ответственно подходили к дойке - при нас хозяин фермы трижды устанавливал на вымя животных слетевшие доильные установки.
Фермер построил эту новую ферму сравнительно недавно. Для этого он взял кредит на 20 млн $ на 10 лет. В начале он выплачивал 2% годовых, к концу проценту увеличился до 6%.
