За вековую историю детский лагерь принял более двух миллионов ребят из 150 стран мира. Сегодня — это ведущий международный детский центр России, в который приезжают дети из всех 89 регионов страны, включая Херсонскую область. В этом году в лагере отдохнут семь юных херсонцев.

К 2030 году «Артек» расширит возможности для детей исторических регионов. Для ребят из прифронтовых территорий будет запущена отдельная программа «Море без границ».
