Пуля отклоняется с силой вполовину меньше, чем при полным ветре. Такой ветер дует с направлений 1,3,4,5,7,8,10,11. «Без ветра» – ветер дует вдоль направления полета пули и не влияет на полет пули. Это ветер с 6 и 12 часов.
Продольный (попутный, встречный) ветер на полет пули оказывает незначительное влияние, и в практике стрельбы из стрелкового оружия поправки на такой ветер не вводятся.
