🛰️ Xona Launches Next-Gen GPS from Space and Raises $92M to Scale It

Xona Space Systems, a Burlingame-based startup reinventing satellite navigation, has raised a $92M Series B after launching Pulsar-0, its first production-class satellite. The round was led by Craft Ventures with participation from Toyota Ventures, Seraphim, NGP Capital, and a $20M strategic award from the U.S. Space Force’s SpaceWERX.

📡 Precision GPS from low Earth orbit
• Pulsar satellites broadcast encrypted signals 100× stronger than GPS — even in cities and indoors
• Delivers centimeter-level accuracy to standard receivers without bulky new hardware
• Designed to resist jamming and spoofing with military-grade authentication

🚀 Moving from demo to deployment
• Pulsar-0 launched May 2025; full constellation planned for 2026–28
• Target customers: defense, autonomous vehicles, logistics, aviation, and finance
• Working with chipset and device makers to enable plug-and-play upgrades for existing systems

⚙️ A deep-tech team with strategic momentum
• Founded by aerospace engineers with DARPA and GNSS experience
• U.S. Air Force and Space Force backing signals national security alignment
• Craft Ventures’ Sky Dayton joins the board to support commercial expansion

As GPS hits its limits, Xona is building the resilient, high-precision satellite layer modern systems—and geopolitics—will depend on.

Telegram | DID YOU KNOW?

So, uh, whenever I hear about Telegram, it’s always in relation to something bad. What gives? However, the perpetrators of such frauds are now adopting new methods and technologies to defraud the investors. What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. Channels are not fully encrypted, end-to-end. All communications on a Telegram channel can be seen by anyone on the channel and are also visible to Telegram. Telegram may be asked by a government to hand over the communications from a channel. Telegram has a history of standing up to Russian government requests for data, but how comfortable you are relying on that history to predict future behavior is up to you. Because Telegram has this data, it may also be stolen by hackers or leaked by an internal employee. The regulator said it has been undertaking several campaigns to educate the investors to be vigilant while taking investment decisions based on stock tips.
