Япония хочет сохранить свое участие в нефтегазовых проектах в Сахалинской области. Однако японцы опасаются, что Россия потребует их покинуть в связи с ситуацией вокруг Украины. Об этом заявил министр экономики, торговли и промышленности Японии Коити Хагиуда в ходе парламентских дебатов сегодня. По его словам, в настоящее время страны, вводя экономические санкции в отношении РФ, исходят в том числе из внутренней ситуации и рассматривают различные варианты развития событий.
В японской компании Sodeco, владеющей 30% акций в нефтегазовом проекте «Сахалин-1» сообщили, что позиция в отношении ситуации вокруг выхода Exxon Mobil из проекта пока не определена.
