Башкирия стала одним из лидеров среди российских регионов по числу незаконных свалок.
Больше всего несанкционированных свалок обнаружено специалистами FinExpertiza в Башкирии (1822 объекта), Челябинской области (1038) и Бурятии (906). При этом на долю первой десятки регионов приходится больше половины от всего числа незаконных свалок в стране. Исследование проведено на основе данных Росприроднадзора.
Количество незаконных мест для складирования мусора в масштабах страны растет с каждым годом: в 2021 году - на 9,1% (1,33 тыс. объектов), за два коронавирусных года - почти на треть. При этом в Башкирии их количество уменьшается быстрыми темпами. Самое резкое сокращение числа незаконных свалок в 2021 году отмечено в Волгоградской области (-364), Башкирии (-345) и Татарстане (-173). Кстати, РБ есть чему поучиться у соседей – на территории Татарстана осталось всего 17 несанкционированных свалок.

In the United States, Telegram's lower public profile has helped it mostly avoid high level scrutiny from Congress, but it has not gone unnoticed. At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. Russians and Ukrainians are both prolific users of Telegram. They rely on the app for channels that act as newsfeeds, group chats (both public and private), and one-to-one communication. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Telegram has remained an important lifeline for both Russians and Ukrainians, as a way of staying aware of the latest news and keeping in touch with loved ones. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. That hurt tech stocks. For the past few weeks, the 10-year yield has traded between 1.72% and 2%, as traders moved into the bond for safety when Russia headlines were ugly—and out of it when headlines improved. Now, the yield is touching its pandemic-era high. If the yield breaks above that level, that could signal that it’s on a sustainable path higher. Higher long-dated bond yields make future profits less valuable—and many tech companies are valued on the basis of profits forecast for many years in the future.
