На Саур-Могиле высадили более тысячи деревьев "Сада Памяти" в честь защитников Донбасса
Более тысячи сеянцев сосны и ели, привезенных из Ленинградской и Нижегородской областей, высадили в среду на Саур-Могиле в рамках акции "Сад памяти". Деревья высадили в честь защитников Донбасса, сообщил врио Главы ДНР ДенисПушилин.
"Недаром деревья высадили именно здесь: курган "Саур-Могила" дважды становился местом жестоких боев за Донбасс. Во время Великой Отечественной здесь шли кровопролитные бои Красной армии с немецко-фашистскими захватчиками, в 2014 году Родину защищали уже ополченцы ДНР. Высоту отстояли ценой своей жизни. Каждое высаженное дерево наполнит это место живой памятью", - подчеркнул врио Главы ДНР.
Генеральный директор АНО "Сад Памяти" ОльгаСтепченко заявила, что в Донецкой Народной Республике начинается работа по закладке природных мемориалов из живых деревьев в честь героев специальной военной операции.
