Едет он в один прекрасный день по Сан-Франциско с американцами в автобусе. Все разговаривают, смеются, шутят. И когда проезжали мимо маяка, Есин вдруг посмотрел на него внимательно и говорит: «А я этот маяк знаю!»
Американцы ему: «Как вы его можете знать, если вы первый раз в Сан-Франциско?»
А Есин отвечает: «Я занимался ядерным планированием. Этот маяк – точка прицеливания. Скажу вам и больше: рядом с этим маяком находится развал земной коры. Если сюда попадет мегатонный блок, то случится оползень и половина Калифорнии окажется в океане!»

Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis." For example, WhatsApp restricted the number of times a user could forward something, and developed automated systems that detect and flag objectionable content. He floated the idea of restricting the use of Telegram in Ukraine and Russia, a suggestion that was met with fierce opposition from users. Shortly after, Durov backed off the idea. One thing that Telegram now offers to all users is the ability to “disappear” messages or set remote deletion deadlines. That enables users to have much more control over how long people can access what you’re sending them. Given that Russian law enforcement officials are reportedly (via Insider) stopping people in the street and demanding to read their text messages, this could be vital to protect individuals from reprisals.
