По версии следствия, в 2022 году Фаил Камаев получил от представителя коммерческой организации взятку на сумму более 1,3 млн рублей. За эту сумму глава района оказал фирме содействие в заключении подрядных договоров на проведение строительных работ на объектах района.
Противоправную деятельность удалось выявить благодаря работе следствия и сотрудников Управления экономической безопасности и противодействия коррупции МВД России по РТ.
