Комар — крупный узел обороны и логистики ВСУ на Южно-Донецком направлении. Он был оборудован фортификациями, к нему было сложно подступиться из-за воды и окружающей застройки.
Взят под контроль район обороны 4 на 3,5 км. В результате боевых действий зачищены более 1100 строений. Наши военнослужащие установили российские флаги в различных частях населенного пункта.
