Производится расчистка поврежденного участка пути для укладки новой рельсошпальной решётки и восстановления контактной сети.
На месте работают 218 человек, тяжёлая техника: 4 бульдозера и 4 крана. Также задействованы 4 восстановительных поезда со станций Мурманск, Кандалакша, Кемь и Петрозаводск.
РЖД приносят извинения за доставленные неудобства и делают всё возможное для скорейшей ликвидации последствий происшедшего.
