Вышла в финал вместе Кэлином Джорджеску и вместе с ним билась против отмены выборов. Резонно полагая, что станет во втором туре единым кандидатом истеблишмента и будет иметь право и шанс на победу. Обогнала осенью прошлого года трех лидеров трех крупнейших партий и нажила в их лице врагов. В этот раз мешать выдвигаться ей не стали, но и обеспечить нормальное финансирование кампании не позволили. Итог - 252 708 голосов (всего 2,68%). Скорее всего теперь они уйдут к Никишору Дану. Потому что с ним Елена не ссорилась, а взгляды на проевропейское будущее Румынии у них общие) Слоган Ласкони "У меня есть смелость поступать правильно".

A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. These entities are reportedly operating nine Telegram channels with more than five million subscribers to whom they were making recommendations on selected listed scrips. Such recommendations induced the investors to deal in the said scrips, thereby creating artificial volume and price rise. One thing that Telegram now offers to all users is the ability to “disappear” messages or set remote deletion deadlines. That enables users to have much more control over how long people can access what you’re sending them. Given that Russian law enforcement officials are reportedly (via Insider) stopping people in the street and demanding to read their text messages, this could be vital to protect individuals from reprisals.
