Впервые в истории России за преступления лишили гражданства жителей пяти регионов, – заявило МВД РФ.
Решения о прекращении гражданства РФ в отношении граждан, совершивших преступления, уже вынесены ГУ МВД России по городу Москве, ГУ МВД России по Московской области, ГУ МВД России по городу Санкт-Петербургу и Ленинградской области и УМВД России по Тверской области.
После отбытия наказания в местах лишения свободы данные лица будут выдворены из страны.
